My opinion, I believe that it could go up or go down from here its up in the air really. As you might be feeling it yourself the eagerness of wanting to get out and travel and book that vacation, or just pack up your stuff , pack your car and go camping. Also, with the feeling of feeling safe in your tent with family at a less cost expense for the trip. The bigger question is where you would be staying if you don't feel comfortable going to a hotel and being amongst a load of other travelers especially for the ones with families. The Covid crisis has made a great drop in sales in revenue for the hospitality industry as this is one of the normal high peak seasons. As of a result of it, now all of the companies are going to have to figure out a away to make up for the huge loss in sales. No one knows when that will happen and how long it will take. The numbers of travelers have decreased to what the numbers normally would be at , as everyone wants to still travel who really wants to even be in hotel unless they have the proper precautions. This leads to things like sharing the bathrooms, sharing sinks to wash hands at public places and at the hotels and possibly any and every other question you could think of. As I am sure the hotels are doing their best in keeping their customers reassured that the hotel is safe to stay in. Employees that work in the hotel like some job descriptions of estheticians that work in the spas at the hotels. Now that they can work from home, aren't going to be bringing in the same business that they were working for the hotel. Being at home for so long they now adapted to the change an may prefer to work from home and bring in those same sales they were at their jobs plus its easier to build up more clients and promote themselves online especially for those who are getting ready to travel out the country or just a simple getaway who simply want to look good. They can still follow the same safety guidelines as they would if they were at work.
Lastly, as I conclude I think they will eventually make back up for the loss in sales and things will slowly pick back up without the fear of the crisis in the back of peoples minds as well having to keep a good amount of distance and having to wear a mask or not. Everyone just wants to travel and have fun and enjoy the summer and scenery on their vacation. Most importantly the companies that have been affected are going to do everything they can to keep their loyalty to their customers and keep them happy an get them to come back. Only time will tell how much of a impact on sales and the damage it has caused for hospitality industry.
